Madhouse Announces Freedom Toast Bottle Release



Des Moines' Madhouse Brewing Company announced on their Facebook page the details for their Freedom Toast bottle release. 750 ml bottles of their barrel-aged Wee-Heavy with cinnamon sticks, vanilla beans and Iowa made Maple Syrup will be available to the public January 25th at 4pm at their taproom.


Freedom Toast was a big hit as a taproom only (draft) release last year. The 14% ABV Scotch Ale received a 4.4 bottle caps per 182 users on Untappd. This will be the first time in the bottle for Freedom Toast joining VIP, Carpe Diem, Wee Heavy and El Jefe as part of the Madhouse lineup.

Freedom Toast: Bourbon barrel-aged Wee-Heavy made with cinnamon sticks, vanilla beans, and Iowa maple syrup. 13.5% ABV. Available on tap and in 750ml bottles. 4 bottle limit.
Juniper Satori: Gin barrel-aged sour saison with juniper berries 7.0% ABV. Draft only.
Zen Lunatic:New England-style IPA. Mosaic, Amarillo, and Citra hops. 7.6% ABV. Draft only.
