Exile's Next Hop Chronicles is a New England Style IPA Called Merlin's Mist

In the Fall of 2017, Exile Brewing began a new series of hop-forward beers and called it the "Hop Chronicles." The first offering was Mosaic Crown, a single hopped Mosaic Pale Ale. They followed that beer with Pacific Triad in January of 2018. It's another light Pale but hopped with Citra, Moteuka and Vic Secret hops from the Pacific ring, of course.

Now, Exile has announced the third in the series, Merlin's Mist. It's planned as a NE Style with the Holy Trinity of hops: Citra, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin. Exile experimented with the NE Style releasing draft only versions of Nelson NE Style IPA and Eureka Juice. This will be the first Exile NE Style beer to see bottles and their distribution accounts starting March 23rd.

The shelves at the Wine and Spirits are getting more and more crowded with mass craft breweries like Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada and New Holland producing hazy, low bitter, hoppy beers. It'll will be nice to have a local option that's available in draft and bottle and not crowler or growler to-go only.
