#2 FRANKLIN STREET DRUGSTORE COWBOY

How it got here: This beer made its debut in August of 2017 and has been selling out quickly at their taproom and across Central Iowa. It's a beer that quickly put the Manchester, Iowa, brewery on the map. It's dry-hopped with 2.5 pounds of Citra, Galaxy and El Dorado hops. The backbone is a light combination of Maris, Pale, Wheat and Oats. Untappd users have been loving this for months and it sits at a cool 4.17 bottle caps with over 800 check-ins.

Availability: The FS taproom and on tap across most of Des Moines and Pella.

VS.

#15 EXILE HOP CHRONICLES PACIFIC TRIAD

How it got here: I reviewed this beer recently and called this beer a welcome addition to the Des Moines beer scene. This is the second of the Exile hop-forward series aptly named "Hop Chronicles." This beer includes hops from the Pacific region: Citra, Vic Secret and Motueka. It comes in at an easy drinkin' 5.7% ABV and 30 IBUs. Introduced in January of 2018, this beer has a rating of 3.91 bottle caps by over 300 Untappd users.

Availability: The Exile taproom and in 12 ounce bottles in six packs across most Iowa Wine and Spirits.
