Lake Time Brewery Announces Baltic Porter Bottle Release

Lake Time Brewery in Clear Lake will host a bottle release this Saturday, April 14th, at the brewery and taproom on 801 Main Ave. 22 ounce bombers of Baltic Porter will be available at 2 PM. The Lake Time Facebook Page did not mention a bottle limit, price or production count.

I believe there's still snow on the ground in the Clear Lake area so this style release this time of year may make sense. Lake Time describes this 10.8% ABV beer as:

"A style born to keep mariners warm while crossing the cold Baltic Sea, this sweet yet robust porter ours a beautiful cocoa-color. The aroma leads with that of dark fruits like dates and plums, then follows with a wave of velvety smooth tastes: dark chocolate, espresso and hazelnut. This brew is sure to keep any traveler warm on their voyage."

Stay tuned to Lake Time's Facebook and social media accounts for more information. Imperial Peanut Butter Stout did land at their distribution accounts including the Des Moines metro area. Let's assume, unless it's a really low bottle count, this beer will land too and perhaps as early as next week.
