Lion Bridge Brewing About to Join The Canned Beer Revolution

If there's one major story in Iowa beer in 2018 it's cans. Consumers now have Big Grove, ReUnion, SingleSpeed, Lake Time and at their brewery Pulpit Rock cans to go. Lion Bridge Brewing looks to soon join that party.

Per their Facebook page, there's plans for both 12 ounce and 16 ounce cans. There's also hints that the award winning English Mild Compensation will be one of their first beers through the canning line. This blogger guesses their IPA Yardsale and Porter Disaster at Meux see the inside of the tin can too.

It's unknown how wide a distribution net Lion Bridge will initially cast. Big Grove, in Solon, is still getting up to speed with their flagship beers hitting the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids markets. SingleSpeed, however, immediately dropped off a load of their cans in Des Moines at two days old. This guy hopes for the latter in Lion Bridge's case. For those additional details, stay tuned to LB's social media stuff for updates.
