Iowa Brewing Company Announces Only in Iowa DIPA Release

Iowa Brewing Company has a double IPA release scheduled for Saturday September 8th. Only in Iowa  DIPA will be in 12 ounce bottles available for four packs at $16 each. The Iowa Brewing taproom will open at 11:00 am and bottles immediately go on sale.

Iowa Brewing lists the ingredients on their Facebook Page as,

Crafted with Xxxx xxxx, Xxxxxx Xxxxx, Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxx, and a massive amount of Xxxxxx, Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxxx and Xxxxxx hops at a rate of X lbs per barrel. This hazy beer drinks more like orange juice without the pulp.

*Ingredients have been redacted and are proprietary information only to be known by Iowa Brewing Company staff

9% ABV
58 IBU

We can assume there's going to be a lot of hops and the sound of it. Iowa Brewing clearly taking a shot at another brewery in Iowa and a well done shot at that. There's no word yet on if those that do know the recipe have signed a disclosure.

The actual ingredients are listed on Untappd as,

Crafted with Pale malt, Malted Wheat, Malted Oats, Spelt, and a massive amount of Citra, Cascade, Centennial, and Columbus hops at a rate of 8 lbs per barrel.
